Man Found Standing Writes:
Lavender, Organic: Bulgaria (Lavandula angustifolia)
Lavender is called the “Universal” oil that can be used to assist numerous health conditions. It is also considered to be among the gentlest essential oils so when in doubt about what to try, use some Lavender. Lavender is the low-cost oil to use for burns and we always have a bottle on hand in the kitchen. The modern term “Aromatherapy” came about because quite by accident René-Maurice Gattefossé discovered that Lavender was extremely effective for healing burns.
Because of the flowery fragrance, Lavender is majorly used in the perfume industry. With the low-cost synthetic cheaply available on the market, most lavender oil sold has been adulterated. (For example, Lavender40/42 is the commercial name for lavender that is 5% pure and 95%synthetic.)
